This is such a versatile stand. I have it on top of my vanity table. Where I spend most of the time. Love how I can see the screen clearly and if it needs charging no need to move it there’s a place for it. And keeps the cable out of the way. And it fits either vertical or horizontal. The rubber feet keeps it in place. It also keeps the device from slipping.

I got this literally because a co-worker of mine has one and recommended it to me. The purpose wasn’t for cell phone or tablet usage, but for the Nintendo Switch. The hooks fit the unit absolutely perfectly and its height is just right for almost any charging cable to fit under (though I do wish it were maybe a centimeter taller to accommodate the slightly bigger plugs). The thing sits at a perfect height and angle for playing. The overall build quality is fantastic and doesn’t bend or feel flimsy at all, and is quite lightweight. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a decent, cheap stand (just under $10 at the time of this review).

Simple, elegant, and well designed, November 14, 2016

A simple and elegant cell phone holder.

The stand is about as simple a device as you can get. The design looks simple enough but there was some thought put into this product, trust me its more complicated than it looks.

The angle at which the phone sits provides not only a good view of its display it also allows me to work on the phone at very close to the same angle I would hold it. This depends on the height of the table or counter its sitting on but it’s close enough that it’s still comfortable to use when sitting in virtually any location I’ve used it on our home. The angle is also important when you tap or touch the phones display. If you go much further either way, lean back more or forward more and the stand would become unstable when tapping. You can see that the piece that actually cradles my phone is made so that it sits forward of the centre point, this compensates the force of most tapping and keeps it from tipping over backwards. See I told you there was some thought put into this thing.

The use of four large rubber feet keeps it from slipping around as you tap or adjust buttons. There’s also a nice wide rubber strip that the back of your phone rests against so that it doesn’t slip around in the cradle either. There are also rubber strips mounted inside the bottom hooks which also help hold the phone in place. The bottom hooks are nice and wide, they’ll accommodate a phone that’s 11mm (5/8 inch) deep and it easily holds my BlackBerry PRIV with its two-piece case as well as the slim Lumia 650.

The very large hole in the back allows you to easily run a charging cable from the back and under the phone (see image). The outer edge of this oval shaped hole is bevelled so that it doesn’t cut into my expensive braided charging cable, more good thought put into the design.

The anodized looking finish is nice; it gives the look some depth and reduces glare form lamps or the sun. Overall the finish is nicely done, no sharp edges or blemishes anywhere.

The only thing I would like to see changed would be the addition of a weight that could be attached to and cover the entire bottom to help reduce the holder from being pushed backwards when tapping a little harder. This however is nit-picking.
